Offshore wind is often developed further from shore, in deeper water and harsher conditions, it poses huge logistical, safety and installation problems for new sites. AF Environmental Base Vats in Rogaland, Norway, is custom built to handle offshore installations and other marine structures. A unique site, with deep water, calm weather conditions, and minimum tidal differences, helps make the facility suitable for even the most advanced marine operations.
