The facility features a steel structure, with the topsides weighing approximately 23,000 tonnes and the supporting structure around 12,000 tonnes. The contract also includes an option for the removal of selected conductors and subsea structures.

The offshore platform surveys will commence immediately, followed by detailed engineering and offshore preparatory works to be performed within the next eight years.

The platform will be removed in a multi-year removal campaign by HMC’s vessels and transported to AF Environmental Base Vats for onshore dismantling, recycling & disposal within the next decade.

“Securing a third contract from this particular client in the last year is a significant achievement and a strong endorsement of our consortium’s capability. This award reflects our established track record of delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality EPRD solutions on some of the North Sea’s most complex installations. We look forward to continuing to support our client’s portfolio, both offshore and onshore, leveraging our core strengths and working alongside HMC in close partnership with our client over the next decade,” says Lars Myhre Hjelmeset, EVP Offshore at AF Gruppen.
