Our transport infrastructure projects range from new construction to expansion, upgrading and refurbishment of existing assets.

Work is often carried out in demanding environments, with high requirements for coordination, delivery and consideration for traffic, surroundings and operations during construction. This places significant demands on planning, execution and collaboration between disciplines and stakeholders.

With strong expertise in groundworks, concrete, structures, blasting and mass haulage and handling, we are able to deliver large parts of the project scope as a fully integrated service.

Tunnelling and underground works

Where infrastructure needs to be delivered efficiently, it often runs through rock. AF Gruppen has long and solid experience in tunnelling and underground works for roads, railways and industrial purposes. We undertake both excavation of new tunnels and rock caverns, as well as upgrading and refurbishment of existing underground facilities.

Work is often carried out under demanding conditions, with strict requirements for precision, safety and quality. We have in-house expertise and capacity for underground services, and use modern machinery and specialised equipment designed for efficient and safe production.
