The contract includes the design, delivery, and reconstruction of the electromechanical systems at the transformer station. The existing AIS switchgear will be converted to an environmentally friendly GIS system.

“We are very pleased that BKK has chosen us for this important assignment. AF Gruppen’s vision is to clear up the past and build for the future, and this upgrade to environmentally friendly GIS technology is therefore a good fit. The project is part of a series of socially beneficial infrastructure initiatives managed by Eviny Solutions,” says Tormod Solberg, EVP at AF Gruppen.

Design and procurement work will commence as soon as the contract is signed, while installation is scheduled for 2027. AF Gruppen completed the acquisition of 80 percent of the shares in Eviny Solutions AS in September. The remaining 20 percent of the shares are owned by Eviny AS. Eviny Solutions will change its name to AF Elkraft on 14 November.
