About the project
In the period 2006–2008, the AF Group carried out extensive work in The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. Some of the more extraordinary works include the wave wall, the marble floor in the foyer and the stretch ceiling.

A building to admire
What started as carpentry, masonry and door contracts has resulted in continuous new and demanding contracts from Statsbygg. The construction of the ceiling, the marble floor and the wave wall in the foyer are probably the works AF has performed that make the strongest impression in the public part of the opera house. These elements are the first thing people see when visiting and admiring the completed building.
Above all, it has been an inspiring project to work on. A landmark building for the entire country with great attention from the media, politicians and the public.
