The AF Group offers apprenticeships in the professional areas of tunnel and rock work, masonry, carpentry, formwork, reinforcement and construction mechanics.
Education
The apprenticeship programme at AF is a good way in which to recruit the younger talents among our tradesmen. Our apprentices go through a fixed training programme that gives a good introduction to the individual disciplines and varied practical experience. The apprentices are given the opportunity to perform all types of construction tasks, involving new construction as well as the renovation of commercial buildings, schools, nursing homes and private residences.
Follow-ups
All apprentices sign a contract with an external training office that has the professional responsibility for the curriculum during the 2-year outplacement period in which the apprentices are at AF. Every 12th week AF follows up on the apprentices and makes sure that they are progressing through the requisite practical aspects by working or taking courses. In addition, every apprentice has an instructor, a professional tradesman on the team, who works closely with the apprentice.
