The construction and industry group AF Gruppen achieved a strong quarterly operating profit of MNOK 81.4 and an operating margin of 5.4%.
AF Gruppen’s operating revenue was MNOK 1,539 (1,299) in the second quarter of 2008. The company has improved margins in the business areas Building and Civil Engineering, and has a record high order backlog in Environment.
Operating revenue was MNOK 1,317 (1,347) in the first quarter of 2008. Operating revenue and EBT margin were in line with last years figures. Profit before tax was MNOK 48.0 (46.6) in the first quarter and EBT margin was 3.6% (3.5%).
