BA Gjenvinning AS operates commercial recycling stations for the receiving, treatment and reuse of heavy demolition waste. The company has receiving stations in Trondheim and Skedsmo.
Here, the receiving operations are administered by local clean-up companies and the demolition material is processed as needed.
A separate mobile division performs recycling out at project sites for various contracting parties. It is often the case in connection with larger demolition projects that the general contractor chooses to reuse the processed material on-site, preferably because, on the overall, the environmental consequences are best in this manner.
BA Gjenvinning works actively with the authorities and organisations in order to develop recycling of heavy building and construction waste within the applicable laws and norms. A primary goal has always been to stop illegal landfills to stop, among other things, the spread of environmentally hazardous substances.
