AF has performed onshore work on Kollsnes for a new 12" gas pipeline in connection with the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant at Mongstad for StatoilHydro.
The Project is a general contract for the onshore part of the pipeline from Kollsnes to landfall Helleosen, a distance of 3.6 km.
The Work includes groundwork with excavation, blasting and transport, rock support, concrete work with culverts, sleepers and consoles, several bore holes in rock and offshore work with Osundet fjord crossing and offshore blasting at landfall.
Mechanical work with bending, welding, X-ray testing and coating, together with cathodic protection.
