With the experience and competence that AF Gruppen has built up over 20 years, we are able to carry out everything from smaller to large and demanding construction projects. Our customers include national and municipal entities as well as larger industrial companies.
AF provides our society with new roads, railways, harbours, airports, facilities for the exploitation of hydroelectric power, plants for processing oil and gas resources, and other important facilities for public and private enterprises.
AF has as its goal to be the first choice of our customers and the leading heavy construction enterprise in Norway.
Heavy construction is divided into the following business units:

- AF Anlegg Oil & Gas
- AF Anlegg Infrastructure
- AF Anlegg Tunnelling
AF's wholly-owned subsidiary Pålplintar AB in Sweden is a part of AF's heavy construction business. They perform all types of tasks involving piling, sheet piling, drilling and ground work in both small and large projects.

AF Gruppen ASA and Oslo Lufthavn AS (OSL) has signed a Letter of Intent regarding construction work at Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

AF Gruppen has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with StatoilHydro regarding building and civil work related to SMIL, the environmental investment project at Mongstad. The agreement has a value of approximately MNOK 80 excluding VAT.
