In November 2007, AF launched Bygg Syd AB, a subsidiary of AF Bygg Göteborg AB headquartered in Halmstad.
AF Bygg Syd is a start-up construction company with a vast amount of experience in new production and rebuilding. Competencies exist in the construction of waterworks and purification plants, as well as residential buildings, offices, industrial facilities and governmental buildings.
AF Bygg Syd is a medium-sized company with competent and creative employees, short decision-making paths and the strengths involved in having a strong parent company. There will be close co-operation with AF Bygg in Gothenburg is the area of real estate development.
AF Bygg Syd operates from Malmö in the south and Kungsbacka in the north. The company has 15 employees, but is reckoning on growing during the course of 2008. Its headquarters are situated in Lokstallarna, which was originally built in 1891 as a workshop for goods wagons. The area was completely renovated in 2004 with the intent of transforming it into a large business and commercial centre.
