In 2006, AF has a turnover of NOK 5.3 billion and pre-tax results of NOK 185 million. AF has around 2,000 employees in Norway, Sweden and Poland. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and is divided up into five business areas: property (Eiendom), building (Bygg), facilities (Anlegg), environment (Miljø) and energy (Energi).
Property
AF identifies, acquires, develops, sells and carries out projects for residential and commercial buildings in areas where AF has contracting enterprises. The company makes its own investments or co-operates with partners.
Building
AF carries out all types of building work for private and public clients. The Building business area also encompasses rehabilitation work in private residential and commercial buildings. AF has a strong position in Oslo and the central Østland area, as well as in Gothenburg and southern Sweden.
Construction
AF is a turnkey supplier of construction services in Norway. With the experience and competence that AF has built up over 20 years, we are able to carry out everything from smaller to large and demanding facilities projects. Customers include both state and municipal bodies, as well as large industrial companies. Construction has core competencies in the market areas of: oil and gas, power, transportation and harbours.
Environment
AF’s activities in the Environment area include demolition and environmental clean-ups both onshore and offshore. AF is Scandinavia’s leading demolition contractor for buildings, constructions and installations as well as demolition in connection with rehabilitation jobs. To the offshore industry, AF supplies preparatory work, dismantling and recycling of oil installations. AF has a modern decommissioning yard for the environmental clean-up of structures at Vats outside Haugesund.
Energy
The Energy area at AF offers competence in: energy rationalisation, district heating and renewable energy, technical administration, operation and maintenance, energy-related services offshore (HVAC). The business area offers measurable results guarantees on the basis of analyses and monitoring of the energy flow in a building. We have a presence in Oslo, Skien, Bergen and Stavanger.
