Developing the knowledge and expertise of our employees is the most profitable investment we make at AF. All our employees must have the will for constant self development.
We sometimes hear people say “He’s a born leader”. At AF, we don’t believe that leadership is something you get for nothing. We must all work hard to make the most of our own potential. Over the next three years, AF will be recruiting 500 to 600 new managers. It is a definite goal that many of these new managers should be developed within our own organisation. In 2010, more than 200 employees completed management development courses at organised by AF.

Not everyone wants to be a manager; however, a company such as AF always has a need for specialists. These are employees who look after special and necessary functions in the operations and at the head office, and a number of these functions also involve management responsibility.
