Romeriks Centre

In 2004, AF Energi & Miljøteknikk delivered an ENØK project for Romerikssenteret that, among other things, encompassed the construction of a technical utilities room with a cooling machine of 630 kW and dry coolers on the roof above the centre.

The delivery also included installation of an central operating control system. The result was that the consumption was cut to less than half.

At there centre, an ice water net was installed for all the shops, and a fan coiler was installed in the shops. The cooling system was added to the central operating control system and is controlled from there, plus the system has been made with a free cooling function where the dry coolers are used for free cooling. Cooling of ventilation air has been converted to Ice water cooling, and the old cooling machines with cooling media that were hazardous to the environment were removed.
