Major contract with StatoilHydro to AF Gruppen

A contract for maintenance and modification of buildings and plant in northern Rogaland county has been awarded to AF Gruppen by StatoilHydro ASA on behalf of Gassco AS.

This deal has a total value of approximately NOK 325 million over the five-year period from 2009 to 2014.

It covers the Kårstø gas processing plant and other facilities at Bokn, Bygnes, Fosen, Kalstø, Kårstø and Snurrevarden, as well as associated pipelines in trenches and tunnels.

AF Gruppen will be responsible for maintaining buildings, internal roads and infrastructure, trenching, site levelling, concrete work and building- related electrical work.

The Kårstø facilities are owned by the Gassled joint venture and operated by Gassco, with StatoilHydro as the technical service provider.
