Rehabilitation of the whole power station, including new intake pond, supply pipes and new turbine and total rehabilitation of the power station building.
The old intake pond was upgraded and clad externally and internally with new concrete. A new hydraulic intake sluice was also fitted. Above the power station extensive blasting was carried out to improve the waterway.
Previously the power station had two turbines. These were replaced by a new turbine with higher capacity and improved functionality. The new turbine is able to make use of large water volumes, but can also be run on smaller flows.
AF Br. Glomsrød Entreprenør carried out diving work, blasting work and masonry work during the project, in addition to rehabilitation.
