On the most attractive plots along the Vesterelven river, the building project Beddingen is now being established. The location is unique, without through traffic, directly on the waterside and with the old park as closest neighbour.
”Værste” is a new and exciting neighbourhood in Fredrikstad Municipality. Here you will live close to the centre, but still be secluded. As the project progresses the green areas will be expanded to infiltrate the houses. Immediately to the west of the project a completely new park is being established, with water, benches and a new ferry berth for the popular town ferry.
The Beddingen I construction project is being erected by AF Bygg Øst and will be ready by early autumn 2008.
This historic site was once the home of Frederikstad Mekaniske Verksted (FMV), which over a period of 118 years built no fewer than 443 ships!
