The intermunicipal company Kilden Theatre and Concert Hall (Kilden TKS IKS) wishes to sign a contract with AF Gruppen ASA (AFG) for the construction of Kilden. Kilden is a theatre and concert hall for the southern parts of Norway, located in Kristiansand.
The contract value is approximately MNOK 450 excluding VAT. The business area Building will do the construction work. They will immediately start to assist Kilden’s architects and advisors. The contract includes projecting and construction of the cultural centre. Construction is scheduled to start in February 2009 and work should be completed autumn 2011.
Kilden will have a gross area of more than 15,000 sqm and will be located at Odderøya, Kristiansand. The building includes a lobby, four concert halls with more than 2,200 seats, practise rooms and administration facilities. Agder Theatre, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra and Opera South will be located at Kilden.
