AF is performing the Sørenga contract in the E18 Bjørvika highway project for Statens Vegvesen.
Using shears and sorting equipment mounted on excavation machines, the platform was torn down, cut into pieces, sorted and loaded up in specially built containers for transport to land with supply boats (the "Small Piece” method).
AF is under construction the new T-connection between E39 in Tysvær and Rv47 at Karmøy, together with North-South direction between Fosen and E134 in Haugesund, for Statens Vegvesen.
Up to now, this has been the largest demolition project in Norway. The project encompasses the demolition of all structures and installations above and below ground at the refinery.
AF Group is selected by Bjørvika Infrastruktur AS as contractor for construction works on Havnepromenade Vest, a part of the port promenade around the Sørenga pier, defined in the Bjørvika-Bispevika-Lohavn regulation plan.
